Micro league swim offs 2023 @ Blackpool

Hopefully you all looking forwards to Saturdays swim off gala at Blackpool.Its at the Palatine Leisure Centre, 207 Saint Annes Road, Blackpool, FY4 2AP.
There is a large free car park but it will be very busy so I suggest you get there handy in order to be parked up in plenty of time.
Timetable for the day
Entry poolside 09:45am
Parade 10:15am
Warm up 10:45am
Start time 11:15am
At the end of the gala there will be presentations of trophies for the season’s teams and top swimmers in the league.
We will be warming up and swimming in lane 3.
The gala is a double header gala with lanes 1-4 being the swim off for our divisions a/b.
Lanes 5-8 will be for division b/c swim off.
So, when watching the races its lane 1-4 to that we need to watch.
It will be very warm still on Saturday. Swimmers should ensure they have two large drinks as it is a long session. They should have some type of footwear for the poolside as they may be chaperoned for the parade in the sports hall. Cros, flip flops will be ideal. They should have two towels, a club t shirt if they have one and at least one swimming cap. In addition to their costumes and goggles.
And you will also need to wear something cool and bring plenty of drinks. There is a café on site but as it’s a sell out day it will be busy. You will need your wristbands as there will be no entry without them and a raffle which is £1.00 per strip. Tomorrow night will be last opportunity to pick up. Good luck to all
