Dave Williamson made it to Everest Base Camp
On the 25th October 2019 at 1320 after a 6hr trek from Lobouche via Gorekshep Beth and I arrived at Everest Base Camp. It was quite an emotional experience - goal set goal achieved. Thank you to all who have donate so far. The just giving page will remain open till a week after our return, approx 26th Nov.
I'm sure that's a massive relief to Dave's wife Steph and his other 3 girls all waiting at home. Once they make the massive trek back Dave will spending some quality time with the family down in Cambridge and then spoiling themselves with a trip to a West End show in London and lunch in the Ritz!
We won't see him now until November but I'm sure he will be in all our thoughts and we wish him a safe journey back to lower ground.
Congratulations Dave and Beth we are all very proud.
