We will be commencing summer swimming over the holidays. This will mean we reduce swimming to 2 sessions per week rather than 4. There is an additional cost to this. if you would like to attend please see the front desk.

The 2019 SENW Summer Championships are currently underway with swimmers taking part over 3 weekends: 27th & 28th April 2019 – Manchester Aquatics Centre 11th & 12th May 2019 – Manchester Aquatics Centre 25th & 26th May 2019 – Manchester Aquatics Centre. Qualifying this year are the following swimmers, WELL DONE to you all and for qualifying for the event.
Bank Holiday Training 01 Apr 2019
As a reminder as a Club we no longer train on Bank holiday weekends. This allows everyone an extended family weekend and in turn helps to maintain our competitive monthly fees. Enjoy. All dates are marked on the Club calendar when training will not take place.
Ella Prescott comes 4th in English Nationals 05 Aug 2018
Congratulations to Ella Prescott who finished overall in the Women finals at English Nationals in 4th place in the 12/13 year age group. She qualified in her morning heat with a LC (long course) time of 29:83 a new PB. After a few hours rest she returned for the final in the afternoon and finished in 4th place with a new time of 29:56 Ella this was a fantastic performance at Nationals, I’m sure it won’t be the last. Congratulations and well done.

We are pleased and proud to share that one of our swimmers met the very strict criteria; this is an invite only event.This is a fantastic achievement as Ella started the year unwell and to qualify and be invited to this major championship is a mark to her commitment and training she puts in to the sport week in week out.
Splash session Monday 16th July 13 Jul 2018
Our final session before the summer break will be Monday 16th July which will be a splash fun session. Swimmers should attend within their normal training times and are welcome to bring floats, inflatable’s and water toys. Enjoy your summer and if you are not participating in summer swimming we will see you all in September.
Otters 2018 Sponsored Swim 02 Jul 2018
Sunday 1st July was stage one of the Club's fundraising event - our sponsored swim to celebrate the new European Championships in Glasgow. We will be swimming as a team to Glasgow. We have a total target of 338 kilometres to swim. During Sunday 1st July session a total of 182 km was covered. Amazing. Sunday 8th July is session 2 again from 3-7pm.
Inter association team galas 24 Jun 2018
We are fortunate to swim under two associations and this year at Blackpool we have swimmers competing for Merseyside, Harrison Knight, Ashlyn Warnock and Evie Warnock. For North Lancs swimming is Fiona Byrne. This is a fierce competition so good luck to all swimmers that have been selected. The associations select the swimmers based on their rankings over the last twelve months. Congratulations to you all for your hard work and dedication.
2018 SENW Summer Championships 26 May 2018
The 2018 SENW Summer Championships are currently well underway.With Swimmers attending over the 4 weekends qualifying this year are , Noah Cox Kieran Hennessy, William Jackson, Harrison Knight and Eoin O'Connor for the boys. Girls attending are Fiona Byrne, Connie Roberts, Ella Prescott and Georgia Thomson. Good luck to all and well done for qualifying to this elite event.
Bank Holiday Weekend ( again) 25 May 2018
There will be no swimming at Park Pool again this coming weekend as its our policy not to train any longer at Bank Holiday weekends. ( Is May your favourite month ? ) The next session will be next Thursday 31st May 7.30-9pm. Any Saturday swimmers that would like to attend the Thursday 31st session are welcome to come along as these are additional sessions you pay for. With it being over half term we will have some swimmers away so there will be capacity. Any swimmers looking to add additional sessions initially on a Saturday basis 4-5:30pm can you please speak to Lindsay and she will advise you on capacity. This carries an additional monthly fee.
